We are the "Gypsies of the Middle East". Let us take you on a journey of the exotic, the spicy and fiery, the passionate and sassy!  Our lively dance numbers include original choreographies, combos, and tribal improv in American Tribal Style format, but with a Gypsy twist. Veils, zils, candles and baskets are all part of our dance repertoire. Twisted Tassels dances for period festivals and community fairs as well as smaller gatherings such as birthdays and anniversaries, women's groups, health fairs, gallery openings, restaurants and much more.  For details and additional information just email Perizad at ancientcallings@yahoo.com

2012 NEWS
What's Happening in 2012
Twisted Tassels Troupe is on haitus for a while this year. In the meantime Perizad is once again bringing her students on stage for the Woodstock Goddess Festival this year, and will be participating in community events for non-profit groups and organizations throughout the year.
Perizad will also be striking out on her own to become more involved in weekend retreats and workshops. Her goal is to empower women through dance, as well as educate people on the true history and meaning of "the dance of the belly". Empower the Goddess Within!

Senior Homes and Rehabilitation Centers - Perizad hopes to continue visiting
many of the senior residential homes  in the surrounding areas such as Beacon, Highland, Kingston, Hudson, Rhinebeck, Woodstock, New Paltz and Newburgh. Bringing percussive instruments so that the residents can be a part of their performance, Perizad conducts a "lesson" that anyone can participate in.
Perizad also holds workshops, presentations, special healing dance classes and ceremonies for all gatherings around the country. If you would like to have Perizad or Twisted Tassels for your next gathering or event, please email them at ancientcallings@yahoo.com
